1.Kiulu River


Kiulu River is about an hour's drive from Kota Kinabalu and is easily accessible by car. The Kiulu River is good for beginners and families with children because the rapids are relatively calm and easy to navigate. You and your family can enjoy your adventure while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the lush green hillsides surrounding the river.


2.Padas River


Padas River is the place to go if you want a more challenging rafting adventure. Padas River, located in Beaufort, and flanked by towering cliffs and dense foliage on both sides of the river, is one of the most difficult rafting destinations in Sabah, with Class III-IV rapids that are guaranteed to get your heart beating. You can drive to the Padas River on your own or take a train from Kota Kinabalu to Beaufort, then change to a smaller train that will take you to the river.

This river is located in the foothills of Mount Kinabalu, near the town of Inanam, about a 20-minute drive from Kota Kinabalu.
